How do I assign a Protected Level to a category?
Example: I want to set up a category that only customers with the correct protected access level can view.
Visit Admin > Catalog
On the left column, under Categories (heading) click on List
Select an Existing Category or Sub-Category that you wish to edit. Or if creating a new category, click Add Category
From here, click on the Options tab and select the Protected Level you want from the drop-down list.
After selecting the desired protected level, click Update or Add Category (if creating a new category)
After you have assigned a protected level, you can return to the Category Info (tab). Here you will see an additional HTML field titled Protected HTML Code. In this field you can edit the HTML code to be seen by customers who have protected access to that level, while the content in the HTML Code field can be seen by the public.
After editing the Protected HTML Code, click Update, which is located at the bottom left of the page.
